Primary Eye Care
Our team of Eye Care Professional takes the time to ensure that your vision needs are completely taken care of. At Dr. Jennifer L. Shane and Associates, your vision and the health of your eyes is our primary concern. That is why our practice is equipped with the state of the art technology and specialty testing equipment. This allows us to detect, diagnose and treat many of the most common eye conditions at its earliest stages. All of our doctors are trained in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents, which allows them to treat conditions ranging from common eye infections to co-management of cataracts and refractive surgery.

Pediatric Eye Care
Dr. Miko Yokoi specializes in pediatric eye care. Dr. Yokoi earned her doctorate from the New England College of Optometry and then completed a residency in Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, and Rehabilitation at the Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Yokoi is fluent in Spanish, and has traveled to the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua for eye care missions. She has experience examining infants and children of all ages; she recommends that all children have a comprehensive eye exam prior to kindergarten. Dr. Yokoi is dedicated to helping children of all ages find scholastic success.

A comprehensive eye exam with a pediatric optometrist can help treat eye problems such as:
Uncorrected refractive error (nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism)
Strabismus (eye turns)
Amblyopia (lazy eyes most common due to eye turns, high corrected refractive error, or a large difference in prescription between eyes)
Intermittent double vision
Learning- related vision problems
Blepharitis

Services
We provide comprehensive eye exams for eyeglass prescriptions and contact lens fitting. It is strongly recommended that all patients receive a comprehensive health evaluation annually. The two options available are retinal photo or dilation. The following are the basic fees and services offered.
